1. Watertight

All roofing materials are watertight. Nevertheless, waterproofing is not only a matter of material composition, but mainly a benefit of the full system.
Our innovation lies in the full system:
- Sealsmart technology: when perforated, ONDULINE® sheets release micro bitumen drops to seal around fasteners.
- Monolayer technology: for an homogeneous bitumen impregnation of the sheets.
- Embossed lines: to further enhance the seal.
2. Sound Absorbing
Thanks to high sound absorbency, Onduline contributes to a quieter atmosphere inside homes. Bitumen, as a viscoelastic material, has the capacity to absorb sound by transforming vibration into heat.
ONDULINE® sheets contribute to a 4 times quieter atmosphere inside homes than metal sheets (difference of 23 dB in favour of Onduline®).1
